Big Data Science Using R and Hadoop - Training Program on February 8-10, 2017

We are pleased to invite you for 3-day training program on "Big Data Science Using R and Hadoop" at C-DAC Bengaluru.
Date : February 8-10, 2017
Venue : C-DAC, Knowledge Park, No.1, Old Madras Road, Byappanahalli, Bengaluru-38

Data has become a real source of interest and it is rightly considered to transform business in different sectors. Two distinct efforts are concerned based on the way the data is used, one is called Data Science and the other Big Data.
This program "Big Data Science Using R and Hadoop" will walk the participants through the whole data cycle, from data wrangling to data visualization and distributed programming using R and RHadoop respectively. It also enriches the participants knowledge on implementing Machine Learning using R programming.

Target Audience : The program is designed for data analysts who want to learn R programming and its usage in implementing machine learning techniques, data visualization, RHadoop and analysis of Big Data.

This is to request you to nominate participants from your organization. A brochure is attached for circulation.

The details of registration are available in the attached flyer and also on our C-DAC website - https://cdac.in/index.aspx?id=events

Looking forward to your participation.

Big Data in Life Sciences (BigLSW’14)

In the past decade, the life sciences have seen the rise of a "data-driven" approach owing to advances in high-throughput and automated "omic" platforms. Often, such approaches are faced with the key challenges of BIGDATA - volume, variety, velocity, value. BigLSW'14 will bring together leading experts to discuss state-of-the-art computational techniques and resources, and some of the newly emerging challenges in life sciences that are associated with Big Data issues

Hi,

C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) has initiated GARUDA grid (http://garudaindia.in) with aim to provide computer resources for students and researches for their serial/parallel code to run on supercomputers.

In a special initiative, C-DAC is collaborating with European project, CHAIN-REDS (http://science-gateway.chain-project.eu/gromacs ), especially for GROMACS application.

Write back if you have any infrastructure requirement for your GROMCAS code to run more faster.
