DBT-Bioinformatics Industrial Training Programme 2015-16...Apply.....

BIITP is a programme of Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, managed by Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL).The objective of BIITP is to provide an opportunity to bioinformatics students to acquire practical skills and experience by working on projects alongside industry experts as well as to provide an opportunity for the industry to identify potential employees. DBT invites online applications from the bioinformatics students and requisitions from biotech/bioinformatics companies.

April 14 Online applications portal open
May 19 Last date of receipt of online applications
May 22 Last date of receipt of documents
June 10 List of candidates shortlisted for interview will be displayed on website
June end-July 1st week Interviews for selection of candidates.
September Tentative time of commencement of training.

Biotech Industrial training for north-eastern states

Bioinformatics Industrial Training Programme (BIITP) 2014-2015 (Sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India)

The objective of the programme is to impart practical industrial training to B.Tech./B.E./M.Sc./M.Tech./Advanced Post Graduate Diploma (minimum 1 year) bioinformatics students in bioinformatics/ biotech companies. The duration of the training is six months, during which stipend of Rs.10,000/- per month is paid to trainees. Only for 2013-14 passed out students
