<p>2. Junior Research Fellow, JRF (One).</p>

<p>3. Project Assistant (One).</p>

<p>Essential Qualifications:</p>

<p>1. Research Associate: Ph.D. in the above-mentioned fields, should be evident through quality publications. Those who have submitted Ph.D. thesis can also apply.</p>

<p>2. Junior Research Fellow: M.Sc. or equivalent in any branch of life sciences with a good academic record. Prior research experience is desirable.</p>

<p>3. Project Assistant: Graduation in any subject.</p>

<p>Must be familiar with working on computer and MS-Office.</p>

<p>King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) (kaust.edu.sa) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled faculty member for the Bioinformatics track whose research focuses on development of methods and tools for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.<br />KAUST is an international, graduate-level research university dedicated to advancing science and technology through interdisciplinary research, education, and innovation.   <title><![CDATA[Postdoc at UBritishColumbia in TroutGenomics]]></title>

<p>Landscape Genomics Postdoc at UBC A research team at the University of British Columbia’s Department of Zoology and Biodiversity Research Centre is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in landscape genetics of native rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). </p>

<p>This project is part of a larger Genome Canada project on genetics and physiology of adaptation to climate change in rainbow trout, and the population genomics component is in the labs of Eric Taylor and Michael Whitlock. The landscape genomics component primarily involves whole genome sequencing approaches to understanding the genomic basis of adaptation to features of habitat, but also to provide insights into phylogeography and the influence of watershed structure on population subdivision in rainbow trout. A PhD in a related field with expertise in basic theory and bioinformatic analysis of population genomics data is required. </p>

<p>The position is available for one year with renewal for up to three additional years. Salary is $55,000 per year plus benefits.   <title><![CDATA[IBL laboratory]]></title>
  <description><![CDATA[
<p>The IBL laboratory focuses on the multi-disciplinary analyses of the global responses of model microorganisms, cyanobacteria (mainly Synechocystis PCC6803) and yeasts (mainly Saccharomyces cerevisae) to environmental stresses triggered by oxidative agents, heavy metals, or drastic changes in nutrients availability. The genome-wide responses studied with the "omics" techniques (transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics and genetics) generate a wealth of experimental data, which are processed, archived, integrated and represented as working models through bioinformatics and mathematics. </p>

	<title><![CDATA[Taverna Workflow Management System]]></title>
	<description><![CDATA[<p>Taverna is an open source domain independent Workflow Management System &ndash; a suite of tools used to design and execute scientific workflows. Taverna has been created by the myGrid project and is funded through a range of organisations and projects.</p>
<p>The Taverna suite is written in Java and includes the Taverna Engine(used for enacting workflows) that powers both the Taverna Workbench(the desktop client application) and the Taverna Server (which allows remote execution of workflows).
