<p>Uni Computing (formerly Uni BCCS) is a department of Uni Research, affiliated with the University of Bergen.</p>

<p>5 groups in this lab works on computational resources, methods, algorithms, and software.</p>

<p>Following two bioinformatics groups are:</p>

<p>The Computational Biology Unit (CBU) provides education and research in bioinformatics focused on functional genomics.</p>

<p>The Computational Ecology Unit (CEU) is basically deal with population fluctuations, behavioural patterns and the ways life cycles emerge.</p>

	<title><![CDATA[BINC (BioInformatics National Certification) Website address]]></title>
	<description><![CDATA[<p><span>BINC (BioInformatics National Certification) is an initiative of Department of Biotechnology(DBT), Government Of India in coordination with Bioinformatics Center, University of Pune. The objective of the examination is to recognize trained manpower in the area of Bioinformatics. Currently, various Indian universities, Government and private institutions are involved in imparting courses in Bioinformatics in India.</span></p>

	<title><![CDATA[Taverna Workflow Management System]]></title>
	<description><![CDATA[<p>Taverna is an open source domain independent Workflow Management System &ndash; a suite of tools used to design and execute scientific workflows. Taverna has been created by the myGrid project and is funded through a range of organisations and projects.</p>
<p>The Taverna suite is written in Java and includes the Taverna Engine(used for enacting workflows) that powers both the Taverna Workbench(the desktop client application) and the Taverna Server (which allows remote execution of workflows). 	<description><![CDATA[<p><span>The purpose of the International Conference on Bioinformatics Models, Methods and Algorithms is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in the application of computational systems and information technologies to the field of molecular biology, including for example the use of statistics and algorithms to understanding biological processes and systems, with a focus on new developments in genome bioinformatics and computational biology. <p>1. Name of the post: Traineeship<br />Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Bioinformatics or any other branch of Life Sciences preferably with dissertation in Bioinformatics.<br />Desirable Qualification: Prior knowledge of programming languages such as C, VB, SQL etc. and software/database development.</p>

<p>2. Name of the post: Research Associate<br />Essential Qualification: PhD in Bioinformatics/Biological Sciences/Computer Science or allied sciences with proven experience in bioinformatics.</p>
